Dean’s meeting with the University Management and the new President General (PG) of Ifite Ogwari: An indicator of a paradigm shift for FAG-UNIZIK
The Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. C. I. Ebenebe received the New PG of Ifite Ogwari, Engr. Peter Muonye and his Executives. Both the Dean, HODs and Ifite Ogwari EXCOs paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor. They were received by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Prof. J. I. Ikechebelu who assured them that the VC, Prof. C. O. Esimone and University Management are committed to giving all the the necessary support to actualize the dream of the Faculty of Agriculture becoming the “Food Basket” of UNIZIK and Anambra State by extension. The Dean present the needs of the Faculty, which includes
but not limited to: security, good road access, students’ hostels, staff accommodation & offices, functional internet services & class rooms among others.
The PG in response pledged that his regime is out to do every in their capacity to actualize the optimum running of the Faculty of Agriculture in Ifite Ogwari. During the vote of thanks, the Dean reassured all of her commitment to take the Faculty to a greater heights.
