Animal Science and Production

O'level: 5 O'level credits to include English Language, Maths, Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science in not more than two sittings. Pass in Maths may be considered if the candidate has a credit in Physics or vice versa. The 5 credits must be obtained in not more than 2 sittings. A credit pass in Agricultural Science must be backed up with at least a pass in Biology. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD): The candidate must be a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University with at least a Third Class degree or a minimum of Upper Credit in the Higher National Diploma, HND, from a recognized Institution in Agriculturally oriented courses like Animal Production/Animal Sciences/Health, Wildlife/Fisheries, etc. Master's Degree (MSc): The candidate must have a first degree in Animal Science with an FCGPA of not less than 3.0 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University. A candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Animal Science with an FCGPA of not less than 3.50 may also be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirements are satisfied.
